The Dignity Project began due to the reality that women and girls are missing school, work, and other necessary daily activities due to menstrual hygiene product insecurity. The Dignity Project of Oconee County, South Carolina aims to help alleviate this reality for girls and women across our area.
As a grassroots effort, we are seeking groups and organizations across Oconee who would be willing to join our effort and partner with us by making product or monetary donations.

A program to improve the lives of homeless people by providing comprehensive case management, counseling services, employment, and mentorship in a safe home atmosphere so residents can get back on their feet.
A program that provided a safe and discreet place to recover from domestic violence. It provides emergency and transitional safe housing, a 24/7 hotline for community members to call for aid, support, and counseling.
An interdenominational Christian ministry committed to addressing the needs of the poor and underserved. It provides daily, nourishing to alleviate physical hunger, as well as providing an encouraging and supportive environment to enable hope and help find ways to solve the problems that aggravate individual situations.
The largest food pantry in Oconee County, serving approximately 1,100 low-income and disadvantaged households each month with emergency and supplemental food.
A community for children and their mothers who have dealt with substance abuse. Families reside at Tamassee while they heal from trauma, engage in recovery, discover parenting skills, access education, and learn life and job skills.
Therapeutic camping program near Fair Play. The camp ministers to girls ages 10 to 16 who are struggling in relationships and life choices and want help.
